Order and inventory sync is more than a connection button. Before selecting an integration, decide which system owns each record and which direction updates should travel. A store may accept an order while a business system manages stock, but the exact responsibilities must be explicit.
Review identifiers next. Products and variants need stable mappings, and warehouses or store locations may need separate treatment. Similar names are not enough to establish that two records represent the same item.
Ask about timing and exceptions. How often do updates arrive? What happens when an event is repeated, delayed or missed? How are conflicting stock updates reviewed? A reliable workflow needs visible failures and a documented recovery process.
Consider the order lifecycle. Cancellations, partial fulfillment, returns and historical orders can affect both records and inventory. Do not assume these are covered because basic order import is supported.
Shopify and WooCommerce order/inventory connections are planned for Atlas and are coming soon. Final scope, supported configurations, availability and pricing will be confirmed before release. Use current verified capabilities when deciding whether Atlas fits your business today.
